XM24 Spectre 1800 Piece Advanced Trade Screw Pack XMS24SPECTRE

The Spectre™ by Forgefix incorporates a range of advanced screw features, typically found in premium products, into what is termed an advanced multi-purpose wood screw. These screws have a countersunk, Pozidriv-compatible recessed head and are fully threaded up to 50mm, featuring a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting and a reamer to avoid jacking (for screws 50mm and above). They are surface-hardened and equipped with a quick-start Type 17 slash point.

The screws come with a zinc yellow passivated finish, offering excellent corrosion resistance. The zinc yellow passivation process is similar to galvanisation or zinc plating, with the addition of a yellow dye, providing both protection and an attractive finish.

These screws are CE-approved for use in load-bearing timber construction.
